We have a transaction in v$transaction that appears to have been
running since 4/29. It is hanging our logical standby apply process.

How does one resolve this in a NON-STREAMS environment?

I used the code in MOS doc

How to gather info about uncommitted transactions (Doc ID 786472.1)

that gives a test case but no information on how to proceed from there?
