RE: Listener is working but stopped updating logfile

        I've had this sometimes when our backup software touched the file and 
for a split second and blocked it. I've also had this happen when someone 
truncated the file incorrectly to clear it, usually by issuing something like 
"echo . > (logfile_name)". The only solution I found was to stop start the 
listener at the next opportunity, a reload wouldn't clear it. Not a good option 
but the only one I could find in a hurry.

Yes. It does have enough space. Alert.log doesn't report anything.
