Mladen, With Cooker do you have to do any of the RH acrobatics to get Oracle to install? My favorite thing about Oracle 9.2.0.4 on Gentoo (definitely NOT a production box!) is that the install was completely simple and flawless (probably a glibc thing?). Cooker. Definitely Cooker. It's my personal favorite. I like sticking with known stuff, unlike some fans of the Gentoo distribution. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Please see the official ORACLE-L FAQ: http://www.orafaq.com ---------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe send email to: oracle-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx put 'unsubscribe' in the subject line. -- Archives are at //www.freelists.org/archives/oracle-l/ FAQ is at //www.freelists.org/help/fom-serve/cache/1.html -----------------------------------------------------------------
