Richard, You did not say what OS you are using, but if it is Unix there is not 2gig limit on files when doing a export on 8i. Your Sys Admins may have not have enabled large files on the mount point you are using, but they can correct this on a each mount point, one at a time as needed. -- //www.freelists.org/webpage/oracle-l
