Actually it's an OS kernel bug, and it has been fixed. Running up2date
resolves the issue.

They do routinely run up2date, so they would have all the relevant patches,
so I wonder if there is already a fix for this available. I know some
graphics and disclaimers are different between RHEL and OEL, but I'm pretty
sure that is all, so I *suspect* the difference is patches.
Is there any word regarding patches in Note 729543.1?
