Installer (xwin) on sun-sparc

Ok, I have run the installer on Linux, aix, windows, and Sun-Sparc 64. Of
all of these, x-windows on Sun is always the slowest. Does anyone have a
method for speeding it up? I have to wait minutes on things that take
seconds on other OS's
