just checked in a and it is still a number :

> dsk v\$session -u sys | grep -i hash_value
 SQL_HASH_VALUE                                     NUMBER
 PREV_HASH_VALUE                                    NUMBER

> dsk v\$sql -u sys | grep -i hash_value
 OPTIMIZER_ENV_HASH_VALUE                           NUMBER
 HASH_VALUE                                         NUMBER
 OLD_HASH_VALUE                                     NUMBER
 PLAN_HASH_VALUE                                    NUMBER
 LITERAL_HASH_VALUE                                 NUMBER

I think you mix sql_id with hash_value

none that I know of. BTW that hash function changed in 10g, since the HV
are alphanumeric instead of numeric only.
