We do not seem to have any problems with the 10g Grid agents
We did have to make changes re the permissions of tnsnames.ora in o0ut
TNS_ADMIN directory

RAC 11.2.0.3.1 on RHEL 5.7
with role separation (different groups for sysasm and sysdba)
I've noticed that the directory <diagnostic_dest>/rdbms and the files
inside it
are owned by the group asmadmin (not oinstall).
The oracle software owner is defined like this:
$ id oracle
uid=xxxx(oracle) gid=xxxx(oinstall)
groups=xxxx(dba),xxxx(asmdba),xxxx(oinstall)
