For Beginners i would recommend DBA Handbook By Kevin Loney. http://www.bookpool.com/sm/0072231459 From the Manual : Concepts Manual => Reference => Administrators Guide => SQL Language Ref , PL/SQL , Backup and Recovery ==>Tuning etc
