wild guess -- mosaic? -----Original Message----- From: oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Stephen.Lee@xxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, June 22, 2004 2:19 PM To: oracle-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: [Fwd: Re: IDE for Oracle database] Thanks for the note. The name doesn't ring a bell, on the web page I noticed: "However, please notice that the NEdit GUI is still based on OSF Motif" which pretty much rules it out as a possibility. This editor was entirely X lib only. Which means the guy(s) had to code their own buttons, borders, text handling windows, etc. etc. which I think is just amazing. This gave the editor its own unique appearance. On top of all that, they designed a scripting language (I think) so that you could create your own custom modules that loaded when you started the editor. I hate it when I forget something like this. But at least now, maybe some more people out there can be annoyed wondering what the thing was called. > -----Original Message----- > It was probably nedit. > http://www.nedit.org/ ---------------------------------------------------------------- Please see the official ORACLE-L FAQ: http://www.orafaq.com ---------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe send email to: oracle-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx put 'unsubscribe' in the subject line. -- Archives are at //www.freelists.org/archives/oracle-l/ FAQ is at //www.freelists.org/help/fom-serve/cache/1.html ----------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------- Please see the official ORACLE-L FAQ: http://www.orafaq.com ---------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe send email to: oracle-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx put 'unsubscribe' in the subject line. -- Archives are at //www.freelists.org/archives/oracle-l/ FAQ is at //www.freelists.org/help/fom-serve/cache/1.html -----------------------------------------------------------------
