AFAIK Lingua Franca is, latin or spanish, but definitely not french. The
book I lerad 'Papa fume un pipe' from was called 'la plus belle langue',
where 'langue' means language.

My personal preference is that English should stay lingua franca of this list. (If anyone wonders, the irony is deliberate. Lingua franca == French)
