EDB

What do you guys predict in regards to the long term future of PostgreSQL
and EDB(Enterprise DB)?

EDB takes Postgresql and "enhances" it.  They offer a support/service
center to give that warm/fuzzy to managment.  Eventually most of the
enmhancements make it down to Postgresql for the open source community to
embrace and implement into the base PG.

PG is free, EDB is not.
