ZS3 storage has a number of advantages over non-Oracle storage for
Oracle Database workloads. This includes (in no particular order):
- Support for Hybrid Columnar Compression (HCC)
- Oracle Intelligent Storage Protocol (OISP)
- Hybrid storage pools
- dtrace analytics

In almost any document about ZS3-2/4 it get mentioned the support for DNFS and HCC.
For 12c they also point about auto tuning ( but with a fancy name ).
