Hi Alan, Thanks for fast response. I already have a QA RAC database running on my QA servers. so, should I use same VIP's, private IP's, scan ip's for my standby? In case of failover, will I be using the QA IP's on standby? Generally, we just install software(grid& db) before configuring Data guard on standby. In my case, I will be having 2 databases on QA. will this configuration work?
