Niall,

Thanks. One of Oracle Database Server with Windows 2000 is being reimaged with
Windows 2003 may be in couple of weeks so I asked that question. Is there any
metalink note about this?

Regards
Rafiq

In principle absolutely - if you were moving from 32bit to 64bit there *might*
be some further work to do, but same db release would be fine.

What about if same windows server where one oracle9i database is located being
re iamged from windows 2000 to windows2003 os?
Will those database files worked if copied over again on Windows 2003 by
following the same procedure given by you?
