CRP Inquiry Manager

Can anyone either give me a short description of what the CRP Inquiry
manager actually does or point me at a relevant web page etc?   I've looked
through both the documentation and Metalink, and asked two Oracle
consultants, but haven't been able to come up with anything more than some
vague answer like "It's to do with capacity".


Basically we've just done a major upgrade, 817 to 9206, and 11.5.8 to
(partially) 11.5.10, and HRMS FP.K, and we've two remaining issues; the
system appears to be working ok, but I can't seem to get the CRP Inquiry
manager to come up, and we have performance issues on some (mostly but not
exclusively bespoke) packages.   As nothing seems broken without the
manager, I suspect that we're not using it (although I'd like to be
certain), also, I'd like to be sure that the two issues aren't related.
