Seema,

I think you are in old days. You don't need to worry about the hit
ratio. Performance measurement has changed from hit ratio to wait event
based.

Subject: BUFFER CACHE RATIOS

Hi,

I noticed Buffer Cache Hit Ratio was 52% ,after increased
db_block_buffers
only I see increase in 4% in buffer cahe hit ratio.
change value from db_block_buffers = 14424 to db_block_buffers = 16000
Wondering how to improve more buffer cache ratio.
