Hi Chris
I did write about 150 Pro*Cobol programms which makes me a dinosaur btw. You
can do that. It is an array fetch rather similar to what pl/sql does.

Betreff: HELP! Please - Oracle Pro*Cobol
Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone out there knew anything about Oracle Pro*Cobol?
We’ve inherited an application that is displaying some performance problems. An
example of one is a full table scan report which returns quickly in the
database, but very slowly when run from the app server.
If we mess with the array size in SQL plus on the app server, e.g SET ARRAY
5000, then we can get the performance to be broadly similar.
My question is, how do I set the array size when using Oracle Pro*Cobol?
Thanks
Chris
