Sounds a logical.
The question now how to disble listener from using the public ip. The
default installation is not using listener.ora to do this since it is
not included. The endpoints_listener.ora has the public ip listed, but
am not sure this is the right place to do it.
The last option is to update listener.ora with the vip only and assume
it will ignore the public ip. I'll test it sometimes this week.
