Brian,

Multiple Oracle Clusterware are not allowed on single machine. Clusterware
software has to be >= the latest version of database/asm instances its
managing. Though you can manage older databaese/asm instance with later version
of Oracle clusterware.

Subject: 10g and 11g clusterware on same nodes

Hi all,

Has anyone ever deployed both 10g and 11g clusterware on the same nodes using a
different Linux owner/account for each? The clusterware would share the same
interconnect but use different VIPs on the same bonded NICs. The clusterware
would not manage nor use the same shared storage.

Thanks,
Brian
