Hello Hussain,

This may help

Printer Configuration:

Define printer in UNIX server (Concurrent manager node)

lpadmin –p
<osprintername>-s<ipaddredd>!<printer name>

For this you should be logged in as root

a.) if
the printer is network printer then give ipaddress of the printer on which it
is configured and if it is line or laser,
then in place of printername give “text”

b.) If
the printer is connected through print server then give ip address of the
printserver and give lpd port in place of printername .

Note: make sure that lpd services
for that print server are running

c.) If
the printer is connected to a windows machine give ipaddress of the PC and
shared name of the printer (defined in the windows machine) in place of printer
name.

Register Printer at Application Level:

Login as

Sysadmin à Install à Printers à
Register

On Unix M/C as root user

#enable OSprintername

#accept OSprintername

#lp -d finance1150 testprint

To remove the printer from the machine

#lpadmin –x <Printer name>
