We found it's a chin rest thing. We take an alcohol pad and constantly wipe the
red sensors on the chin rest and it then calibrates.
Thanks,

External Email - Use Caution
I have no experience with the Vissante, but would the ASM (anterior segment
module) fit the bill for anterior uses? I've used it with OCT 1 and OCT2 for
looking at the angles, iris blebs, nevi, clogged tube shunts, etc.

Amazing image Mike. I loved this SD oct system so much too.. Too small a market
to keep it viable. Cirrus AS OCT doesn't have a camera that focuses on the
anterior structures.
We use our visante to look at tubes and all sorts of pathology that requires
careful placement of the scan over lesions.
This necessitates the ability to see the anterior segment well and in detail,
clearly and in focus. Just guessing with the CIRRUS when we tried it.
How does the Heidleberg AS OCT module look? Can anyone describe its
functionality?

Subject: [optimal] Visante OCT calibration failing
Hi all,
Our beloved visante OCT is over half a decade beyond support but has been an
invaluable and reliable system for us.
Recently the calibration has failed and scanning is now disabled. We get an
error message to contact zeiss service.
Of course it isn't supported anymore. I understand and am not disputing this
position at all. Fair enough she is super ancient.
Has anyone had this system fail calibration and had some genius solution to
revive it?
