A contract position for an ophthalmic photographer/technician, with at least 2
years of experience in the field, will open shortly at the National Eye
Institute (NEI). Specifically, this temporary photographer would perform color
fundus photography (CFP), fundus autofluorescence (FAF), and spectral domain
optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT). If appropriately trained and skilled,
this photographer may also do fluorescein and/or indocyanine green angiograms
and slit lamp photography.
This position is located in the NEI Eye Clinic on the main campus of the
National Institutes of Health (NIH), in the Washington DC suburb of Bethesda,
MD. The initial base period is for three months with 3-month option periods
added, if the NEI deems it necessary. Although this is not a government
position there are benefits and, if the position was filled for an entire year,
the salary would be around 60K.
Please contact me via email if you are interested in discussing this short-term
opportunity at NIH--“America’s Research Hospital.”
Thanks.
