He is status post Myopic LASIK OU. He is a 30 mm axial eye length OU Despite fitting him with a -10.00 contact lens, using XL depth, we could not image his RNFL. Not for peripapillary atrophy, but because the imaging simply would not extend to that reach. By using the EDI I was able to obtain a vertical 15 degree slice through the macula , but anything else I could not render in focus. Have I simply exhausted the reaches of this technology or is there something more I might have done with this patient?
