You can only run OCT-A on an OCT2.

Oct-A on the spectralis is only available on the OCT 2 systems. These are
usually S3610 models, but can also be the OCT only S2610 model. The S3610 is
the pan-tilt head, the S2610 is a fixed position and no filter wheel.
The OCT Shift is from the sound of it an option to put wavelength control in
the hands of the operator. In theory it may make for better imaging in
non-standard situations, but I've not used it myself. It would also allow you
to slow down a camera for a new operator and let them learn muscle memory on
the slower system before letting loose on the OCT2 speeds.
