FYI, I believe our group has decided to go with a purchasing agent/group for
our anti-VEGF drugs, they also deal with Fluorescein (akorn) We were offered
Flourescein at $19.18 per vial. Of course these prices are most likely based on
bulk numbers but the purchasing groups may be the best thing for the future. My
predictions are that the upcoming retirement of Baby-boomers is going to create
such a tsunami of anti-VEGF injections that bulk drug discounts will become a
necessary bargaining tool. :)
