[optimal] Mirrors making me crazy

I have a highly polished, engraved silver metal bowl
MD wants a photo of the engraving
Yeah, right
For the life of me, cannot position to avoid reflections
Any helpful tips here? Have tried shooting from above, below, side lighting.
Nothing. You can barely see the engraving to begin with!
