The Medical Nikkor is not just a lens but an integrated close-up / macro
photography system. Ring flash built into the 120mm lens, plus a power supply
and cords.
It's so good that it's no longer manufactured! Perhaps EBay?
We have one and guard it like Mama Bear guards her cubs.

Subject: [optimal] Medical 35mm lens
Hi all,
Back in the "old" days (circa 1990-1995) I use to use a 135mm Medical Nikkor
lens. It was nice because it had click stops at certain magnifications so you
could always repeat the photos with precision. I can't find anything like that
today. Does anyone know if they are still sold?
Thanks,
Tim Steffens
