Summary: Full-time Ophthalmic Imaging Technician needed to join the Camera
Department team at Maine Eye. Located in Portland, Maine Eye and is
northern New England’s largest multi-specialty practice with fifteen
providers and two satellite offices. Previous experience as an Ophthalmic
Angiographer required, CRA preferred.
Performance Requirements:
• Two year minimum experience in FA/ICG imaging. Venipuncture
experience helpful.
• One year minimum experience in mydriatic fundus photography
and SDOCT scanning.
• External photography experience helpful.
• Clinical trial certifications helpful with expectations to
become Angiography and OCT certified at a variety of Reading Centers.
• Knowledge of EHR helpful.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in a fast paced,
multi-tasking environment.
• Ability to speak clearly and concisely with team members,
patients and physicians required.
• Ability to exercise appropriate judgment, initiative, and
possess creative problem-solving skills.
• Possess the ability to physically assist and support patients
in wheelchairs and walkers.
• Proficiency and accuracy in patient data entry and database
maintenance.
• Photographer is expected to review all work to maintain high
quality work standards.
• When not actively working in the Camera Department, ability
to work as an Ophthalmic Technician helpful.
