Job Summary:
The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist I provides excellent patient care and
performs all the photography and angiography for the Department of
Ophthalmology at Columbia University Medical Center. We are a high volume
multi-specialty academic Eye Institute with providers specializing in
Retina, Glaucoma, Cornea&Anterior, Comprehensive, Uveitis, Genetics,
Oncology, Neuro-Opthalmology, Oculoplastics, Pediatrics, Optometry as well
as clinical and basic science research.
Practice Operations (Day to Day):
Performs imaging including, but not limited to: Fundus Photography, Optical
Coherence Tomography, OCTA, Fluorescein Angiography, ICG Angiography, Slit
Lamp Photography, Microperimetry, Corneal Mapping, Specular Biomicroscopy,
Biometry, Corneal Confocal Microscopy. Also responsible for scanning and
uploading of referral images to our Forum database.
