I would like to echo Sandor’s comments. We got to demo the 500 for 2 weeks and
I was impressed with the images I got. And…it drives like a true fundus camera.
There are several “helps” that can help a less experienced photographer get the
image they want, but I found myself ignoring them altogether. We are holding
out for now, until the 700 shows up. Then I will speak to the powers that be
(the purse string holders) about getting one. I still wish that more software
was like Matt Carnevale’s product, but one can’t have everything.

Do you require FA or ICG?

If not, i would talk to your Zeiss rep about the Clarus 500 - it will push your
current budget, but it is the first camera in a long time that has garnered
positive comments from the doctors *during* clinic. As in they stopped in the
photography suite solely to comment on it.
