Just a question- since that document on informed consent is regarding
treatments, does it still apply to angiography?
This is definitely a loaded question as there is more leniency here In Texas
what we can/can’t do as photographers and techs.

See attached document regarding informed consent from the ASRHCM
Covers it pretty well
Bottom line, if something goes wrong, the MD will WISH they had reviewed
Informed Consent instead of delegating it….
The law will always look to the MD, not the imager, for policy adherence….
