We've seen this before. Could be an intermittent and impending failure of the
laser/IR module. Check the error status window at the bottom of the screen to
see if you notice any under voltages. Sometimes it will show an under voltage
error for a second or two if it's an early failure. Might be a good idea to
have Heidelberg log in and check your error log as well.
