Today is the 12th Anniversary of my husband's kidney/pancreas
transplant. After 35 years as a brittle Type I diabetic, the loss of
one eye, the near loss of the other, and three brutal years on dialysis
we received that fateful call that changed his life forever.

We are blessed to live in an age of modern medicine, an area populated
by great surgeons, the economic means to avail ourselves of this option,
and the generosity of spirit shown by the mother of a murdered 17 year
old son, who in her moment of grief had the courage to donate life. One
mother's sorrow is another mother's joy.

In honor of her, and organ donors everywhere, won't YOU consider giving
the gift of life?

It's easy. Log on to www.doanteLIFECalifornia and register today.
