Here at CPMC, we clear the archived database of "pic" once a year. It's a
multiple redundancy for us.
Images we care about have already been exported to our fine PACS, the Willow
DBS.
It clears off the working bits/bytes that we need for other things.

Okay, Merge EyeStation users (or someone from Merge...): what are all those
MR#####.## files in the pic folder? They are all 12,289KB in size, and there
seems to be one for every PH#####.## image file, with the exact same file
creation date and time. Should they get deleted along with the image files
when I clear archived records? My system seems to have quite a few orphaned
ones.
They weren't there with the old WinStation software...
