and anyone else I may have missed for all of your welcome input on a topic you
are probably sick of hearing and talking about. EMR. Also, because of your
responses I was able to see some related older posts from 2011, and 2013. I
will research deeper now, and try to do the CBA -cost benefit analysis- taking
into account such things that can at first be overlooked, such as time saved
elsewhere not dealing with pulling, filing, copying, or faxing. I will pitch
the "pros of" to the doctors, and then stump for getting more help with the
project. I cant imagine doing the start to finish on my own.
Denise thank you, we will not overlook Willow DBS. In fact, Joe is currently
helping me recover and convert some OIS data to DICOM following a recent crash.
(hopefully) Thank you for the offers from some to contact them directly to
discuss. Thank you for the tip to go to AAO as a resource. We need to decide
whether or not to do this along side all of our other changes, or whether we
wait until our expansion is done and our office flow kinks are worked out.
