Without David (or Richard) I wouldn't have a working Optacon today, and without
David's Finnish colleague Rabbe or without this list I'd probably never found
someone like David (or Richard).
Rabbe Saxén from Näköpiste Polar Print Oy (Oy stands for LTD) is retired but
performs hardware services on demand. The reason why he sent my Optacon to
David wasn't lack of knowledge but lack of spare parts. I've told "the battery
story" on this list; that story had a happy end.
One may just wonder what would have happened now if my Optacon would have
required service. Assuming that I would have known about this list I could have
asked for someone being able to perform services. I could have googled for
Optacon user lists like this, but knowing someone having the right knowledge
and correct information was much easier of course. It was David who adviced me
about this list.
