How do you get it to reade accurately? I've turned the flash off, which gives
me better results, by no means would I call it close to reliable. I am using
KNFB version 6.11

It is also great when you need to do a quick check of money.

I have the KNFB Reader as well. I haven't attempted to scan a book with it,

but in my opinion its designed more to read shorter handouts and labels and
other little things. I can understand that it wouldn't scan a book as well
as the Kurzweil software, but its not really designed to replace that.
The things it is designed for, it scans very well. I was surprised at how
accurate it is. It reads handouts and other things with very few errors,
certainly no more than with the Kurzweil program on those things.
I've also used it to read cooking instructions on food packages.
