The Faculty of Computer Science organizes the Arduino workshop for
newbies: from concept to project realization. We begin on the 24.05.2016
with an introduction from 9:00 to 10:45. Then the participants will be
split into two groups, which will attend the course either in the morning
or in the afternoon. The course will take place in D002 and consists of 4
half-day lectures.
The specific topics taught in the course are:
- The Arduino IDE
- Processing and programming basics
- Blink: your first Arduino program
- Variables in Blink
- PWM: what it is and what you can do with it
- Digital and analog input
- Logic conditions (if(), while(), ...)
- Mapping sensors and actuators
- Control larger loads: MOSFET
- Smoothing of sensors, filtering techniques
- Serial communication with Arduino
- From concept to realization: planning a project with Arduino
