In TOKYO story headlined "Sony: aims for 35% of Japan flat-TV
market in 2004" please read headline as "Sony: aims for 35% of
Japan flat-TV market in Dec".
Also please read in first paragraph ...it is aiming for a 35
percent share of Japan's market for flat-screen televisions in
December, up from 30 percent in the same month last year...
instead of ...35 percent share of Japan's market for flat-screen
televisions this year, up from 30 percent in 2003... (correcting
period).
A corrected story follows.
TOKYO, Aug 19 (Reuters) - Electronics and entertainment
conglomerate Sony Corp. (TOKYO:6758) said on Thursday it is aiming
for a 35 percent share of Japan's market for flat-screen
televisions in December, up from 30 percent in the same month
last year.
