IMO, Craig misses the important part of all of this. What this demonstrates, Craig, is why I don't like your much vaunted limited-use boxes, like Apple TV and Roku. What have I been saying from the very start? These boxes mandate that the CE manufacturer get in bed with the content owner or rights holder, right? All of these "apps," that you think are so cool, are merely the mechanism used to mandate that collusion. So here we are, Craig, with a perfect example of this CE manufacturer collusion. Is it necessary? Nope.
