You don't need to address the fact that no standards exist yet.
I slam anything that is deliberately and unnecessarily crippled because of
collusion, yes. But that doesn't change the main idea. Separate STBs are
obsoleted when the signal format has been standardized, conditional access
methods have been standardized, and DRM solutions have been standardized.
It's retro thinking that separate boxes would still be essential.
Where can I buy a TV that is compliant with what the FCC plans to vote on at
their next meeting?

No. It [HDMI] has it's own DRM. It does not understand IP.
Is it possible that you think I didn't know that, Craig? Do you have too much
time on your hands?
