collusion, yes. But that doesn't change the main idea. Separate STBs are
obsoleted when the signal format has been standardized, conditional access
methods have been standardized, and DRM solutions have been standardized.
It's retro thinking that separate boxes would still be essential.
No. It [HDMI] has it's own DRM. It does not understand IP.
