Some salient points:
- Association of American Publishers:
e-book sales same percentage (~20%) of market last year as a few years ago
e-book sales fell 10% in first five months of this year
- American Booksellers Association:
2015 - 1712 members in 2227 locations
2010 - 1410 members in 1660 locations
- publisher warehouse space:
Simon & Schuster adding 200,000 square feet in NJ
Hachette added 218,000 square feet in IN last year
Penguin Random House added 365,000 square feet in IN last year (more than doubling)
