[opendtv] Office assistant's DTV conversion experience

Our OA just recently bought a new Sony LCD TV, to replace her upstairs
analog TV. She has cable downstairs, OTA upstairs, and uses an indoor
rabbit ear antenna.
Matter-of-factly, she says it was no problem. She did the channel scan
and got something like 26 channels, she said.
Then she also bought a Memorex CECB, to use on her old analog set. That
didn't do nearly as well. She had to mess with the antenna, and finally
managed to get a reasonable number of channels, but not as many as the
Sony got with no problem.
I guess not all CECBs are created equal.
