No, this is your bad.  I just used a tape measure to confirm my previous 
measurements.  The analog set is 28", the digital one is 32", the analog set 
has a screen height of just under 16", the digital set has a screen height of 
just over 15.5".  Just to make it clear: I performed these four measurements 
ANEW.

You're welcome to come to the Paradise Hills section of San Diego to conduct 
your own measurements any time to confirm that I am correct on this and that 
you are wrong, at least until the analog set goes to the recycling yard.  
(California law has mandatory recycling requirements for electronic gear.)

That's one estimate and two actual measurements that contradict your 
calculations.  I'm too busy to try to figure out where your error is.  Perhaps 
it's related to the time of day and the time of the first beer of the day? :-)
