Nothing like new ownership to infuse a certain level of renewed
commitment.

In the DC area, WDCA-DT, ex-UPN 20, now My20, was transmitting at very
low power, 1 KW ERP or so, adjacent to a 1 MW DTT station. Hardly an
ideal setup. Couldn't get a signal.

I'm happy to report that My20 is now coming in strong. First noticed
this last night. Evidently, they went from 1 KW to 500 KW ERP, and even
though adjacent to the 1 MW station, no problem.

I can't receive Baltimore's equivalent yet in digital, however.

Also, the ABC affiliate, WJLA-DT, has added a third program stream to
its multiplex, so far just an SD version of the main stream. It's nice
to see DTT improving steadily.
