Interest in BD players is apparently not strong, because many seem
satisfied with the quality of regular DVDs. However, now LG offers a BD
player that also supports video SD streaming from Netflix online,
covered under the same Netflix subscription fee that applies to DVDs by
snail mail.

A very interesting alternative to cable VOD, I would think. All they
need now is to make that BD streaming player into an HDTV PVR with
built-in ATSC receiver, and they have all bases covered.
