Certainly, some parts of production are in the outside-of-plant cloud. But
the term "cloud" is often applied by vendors to mean your in-house network.
The differentiation is usually public cloud vs. private cloud. But
that doesn't mean that your public cloud footprint can't be locked
down and fully private from a network/data/compute/security
perspective.
