Rewards for customers who buy more services are commonplace - for example, cash
back bonuses for some credit cards. The article alludes to some AT&T perks,
like the zero rated bits I enjoy for DirecTV Now bits on my AT&T cellular
service.
No doubt, some people will cry foul, but the higher speeds are available to non
TV subscribers. I got several of these speed bumps from Cox; frankly, the
service was adequate before the bumps, and I would roll back to a cheaper tier
if they try to increase my rates now. The data caps are more important, and
they are the same for everyone at any given tier level.

You can UNSUBSCRIBE from the OpenDTV list in two ways:
- Using the UNSUBSCRIBE command in your user configuration settings at
FreeLists.org
- By sending a message to: opendtv-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word
unsubscribe in the subject line.
