I'll check in the sources when I'm happy with it, right now it's not compiling cleanly. Also, I don't know how to write a Jamfile though, so I'll just check in the Makefile and let one of our many astute Jammers write this file.

That's perfect. Although I hope that it won't end up at Ingo's desk ;)

ROTF! :-)

Here's HP's license, looks like it is OBOS-friendly (pardon the
moronic
formatting, I just cut-n-pasted it so it may look odd depending on
your
word wrap). Is it OK to check the code in and use it under HP's
license?

Sure, we do that all the time - just make sure to include the license in some way (i.e. as a single file, or in the starting file comment, ...) :)

Cool! Checked in.

I decided that it would be smarter to check in the original sources (plus a README.obos file) in the proscribed directory and work from the repository rather than code up what I think is a working version with no way to get back to the original sources. I also took the liberty of tagging the files with 'netperf-2_2pl4' so we can always get back to the original sources with a symbolic, non-branching CVS tag, just in case...

Sincèrement,
Scott
